Intermediate Composition, Fall 2006

He is a handsome guy, because he has a wonderful beard. I like him.

I have a pretty bad case of buyer’s remourse. At first, I don’t buy anything even though the item is perfect for me. If I buy it without hesitaion. The itme will be used until I die. However, it happens once in a blue moon. I usually buy things before thinking over and over again. On top of that, I hesiatate until I finally buy. This behavior makes my company so upset. I don’t think I am pushover or can not decide something. I just want to be more keen and through at buying things.

Today, I bought a neckless made of three natural gems. Actually, I saw it last Satuday in flea market. At that time, I thought that it is good for summer season and be nice with my new shoes. However, I din’t buy it, so I couldn’t keep thinking about the neckless. Mostly, if I don’t buy something at first, it is very hard to find an exact same one in flea market. Neverthless, I coud find it easily, and also get a discount.

It made me kind of happy tonight. Eventhough my best friends are abroad right now, I am happy and will enjoy rest of my holiday with it. Everybody! Happy Christmas. I hope you could find the pefect for you.

Most of the students don’t like doning homework, but they can not escape from it unless they graduate school. Even though many students hate it, but they should know that it is actually good for them.

First, homework gives a good tension to sudents. What I mean by this is homework is like a whipcord for horse. If there is no assignment. most students will be loose, and also don’t care about the next class. By doing it, they could keep up with what they have learend.

Second, It makes students review. They will lose the information unless they review and keep using their learning source. In this reason, homework is good to remember the information they learned.

third, it reduces time to waste. By doing homework, students can spend theit time on stuying instead watching TV, or playing computer game. It makes them keep on track to study continuosly.

All in all, with three reasons that I have mentioned above. Homework is beneficial to students. Always good medicine is bitter for us, but think wisely  on that matter. Do you want to suffer for ten days, or having bitter medicine and be good for ten days. The choice is up to you.

It was my first time to put a make up on my face. It was fun to do, but not easy. That is why there are special make up artists. Before do it, I thought that if I do that, I would be very different because of make up. However, there is merely nothing changed. It was rather not so good. My skin looks kind of odd, and there was a crack between my skin and powder. Even I used good quality of foudation, but it was not suited for me. What makes worse for me was lip gloss and lip stick. Those are for make lip glossy, shinny and moist. However, it worked the other way around. It made my lip dead and dry, so later on even my lip was bleeding.

My first experience of make up was half satisfaction. It was good to try somthing refresh my look, but it gave me hardship as well. It was not so bad. On top of that, from now on I have to do it perpetually. As I am getting older, I have to think to get a job. It makes me  put a mak up on. It could not be always, but I have to get used to it.

If I can not get away from it, it could be much better to enjoy it. I will enjoy and improve my make skill.

Homework is helpful to students. homework get students to review and prepare lessons. Review and prepare are very important because all study need to repeat. But sometimes a lot of assignment is inefficient. most of students are afflicted with many assignments. So, they are out of meaning because they begin to just copy answer paper into a book instead figure the questions. Furthermore, students don’t have time to study own delicate part by spending much time do their homeworks. My surroundings and I are pressed for time every day.

Therefore, Students is given adequate homework. Have you heard the saying :”Too much is as bad as too little”? too much assignment can give rise to side effect.

As students need the practice somewhere and there is not always enough time for everything in class, I think that some homework is good. However, the only thing is, most teacher seems to think their subject is the most important and gives a lot of homework, making it much harder. I think teachers should give less homework, because students need time to find something to study themselves. It may be better than given a lot of homewok to improve students’ ability.

Homework! It always impose a heavy burden on me, also on many students. Moreover, most of people want to duck a tough something to do. That is the instict of ourselves. However, homework makes me different during the university life. When i was freshman, all homework bothered me a lot and i was totally stressed out. However, homework not only has been given clue of knowledge, it but also makes me how to satisfy my curiosity. From that, i believe that homework we hate is good for us.

However, i still do not like doing homework!

Finally this class’s finished. It’s first time that I met Prof. Gord, he’s so nice and has full of humor.After handed in final essay, I feel relieved but sorry because this is my last composition class during college year. Though I was under little stress because of  homeworks every week, but it worked. I could practice writing regulary and it’s helpful. It’s such a good time to take this class. Thank you for your energetic teaching Gord. I wish all you guys have a happy christmas and holidays.

  If some class have no homework, so many shameful thing is happen. Expecially, teacher is difficult how to estimate each student’s effort and ability. And it can be happen that two types student was given same grade. One type of people is always devote to the class. And another one is bad faith to the class. It is a pity. Therefore, homework is need not only  students but also teacher.

  We are more concentrated on class by doing homework. And home work is help us to the next class understanding. we also can get a knowledge through homework.  If we does the best on homework, it is good for grades. when we miss the test, teacher can gives us some revival chances through homework.

Homework makes us keep on track to study continually. It’s quite controversial weather homework is good or bad. Some people may say it’s bad, because its mandatory feature has bad influence on students’ creativity. However, homework has many good points at the same time.

        First of all, homework helps students review what they learned in class. Through homework students can understand better what they learned, even though there would be difference of achievement between students who enjoy and hate it.

        Secondly, students can practice that they lack in their studies. They can notice their weakness. Therefore, they could make right direction to study.

        Finally, students can stop wasting time. By spending time doing homework, students could reduce time they spend uselessly and they could spend their time efficiently.

        Consequently, homework has many good points, so we should do homework!
