Love Letter…

December 20th, 2007

To _____

I’m thinking of you. Strangely, everything reminds me of you tonight. I wonder if you think of me sometimes. I remember the first time I saw your face. When I looked into your eyes, you were smiling at me. I couldn’t forget that moment forever, your eyes, nose, lip, scent and your smile. Where are you? I’ve been trying to find you since I came back. Here without you is so cold for me. Would you give me one more chance to love you and smile at me again? Can you see me again? I could give you everything I have. After you left me, I’ve been hiding from the world. I realized I can be happy only if I’m with you. You might not know you were brighter than sunshine for me. Just thinking of you, it makes me trembling. I’m going to be honest. My body is telling me I can’t live without you. I haven’t got enough time. I feel like I’m dying. If I could kiss you one more, I could die for you right now. If you would stay with me tonight, I could die tomorrow morning without hesitation. One of reasons why I’m still alive is you. If we got married, would that be cool? I want you to come back to me, give me a kiss softly, stay with me tonight, touch me and please remember the time we had forever. I’m begging. I love you…..and you’ll be remembered as the most beautiful woman I have ever met in my lifetime… even if I die. ‘I love you’ is all that I can say. I shall miss you.

Today is a presidential election.

December 19th, 2007

Today is a presidential election! I’m wondering that who will be elected. When I was a child, I believed that No.1 representative was elected. Ha Ha… in actually, in those day No1.representative always won. However, now I know that it is nothing but a mere accident.

Yesterday, my father called me and asked, “Tomorrow is a presidential election, so who will you vote for this election?” I said, “Father, our nation will be a secret voting! So I won’t tell you who I will vote for.” After a while he threatened me to vote for Mr. Lee. Actually my father is not concern with Mr. Lee. In addition, he does not know well about politics. I guess he just heard many times about Mr. Lee. So he did.

Nowadays is an era of mass communication. Recently Mr. Lee received much publicity from the press. Therefore, he was influential with people. All we don’t know who is he. Is he really eligible to president? I don’t know. Someone is elected today. I hope that a new president who will be elected will make a good nation.

I was happy to meet all of you and Gord in this class, and got so much knowledge to develop my writing skill. The only thing left is to practice and practice by myself!

Even though it was a conposition class, I think Gord gave us to get along with classmates. Thank you, Gord.

I dreamed yesterday…

December 16th, 2007

In my dream, I had an e-mail from Gord, and it said, ‘ Your participation in blog has been low so that I cannot even grade you. Also, you didn’t post about the cover letter!’

What a nightmare, and even worse, it can be true unless I post it ASAP.

This is third dream about professor Gord, and funny thing is that he was always angry at me in all the three dreams. I might get too much stress from this class. Haha.

 Help me.

abstract

December 16th, 2007

This paper is about problems and solutions of a subject, ‘CAP’ in Catholic University of Korea (CUK) since 2004. CAP class is supposed to provide three skills; Creativity, Analytic competence, Problem-solving Competence. However, we found a problem in improving creativity and decided to find the other problems and possible solutions for them.        We randomly picked 100 students who have taken CAP class in CUK for the research. Consequently, as a matter of fact, there was a problem with improving creativity, and the reasons were students’ low-participations and a professor-centered education. There were incidental questions about the need of text book in CAP class. As a result, the use of text book in the class was considerably low and most students insist that the text book is unnecessary. We believe CAP class needs to be complemented to be able to improve creativity better.

It has been snowing.

December 15th, 2007

It has been snowing. I woke up at six. When I looked over the window, it was still dark. The final-exam season is coming. The library is a place of war. If I don’t hurry, I can’t have my seat. I thought it might be cold, so I wore a wool sweater. When I got out my house, I realized that it had been snowing. The weather was cold and the path was slippery with the snow. Everything was calm. However, my mind was only impatient. I had to go to the library quickly. I walked in the dark and arrived at the library. I saw many seats that I could choose. I thought it was good luck whereas I found out myself that could have no time even seeing the snow and tree in the dark. Ah, what a pity life. Ha Ha…

Wrong Stereotype about Gamers

December 14th, 2007

A common stereotype about gamer is that they possibly have emotional problems. Many video games are violent, so gamers might be influenced by that violence. They may start to feel that it is okay to use violence in real life. Further, gamers spend too much time in the false worlds of their games. The result is that they can no longer recognize the real world. They may come to believe that they are characters in a game. The result of this could be violence or destruction of property, either real or through computer hacking.

Of course, these views are only stereo types, although a few gamers may be this way. A recent study found that most gamers are the same as normal people. According to the survey, both gamers and non-gamers spent the same amount of time doing different kinds of activities, like studying and exercising. Gamers did not spend all their time playing games. They did not spend all their time alone, either. Most of the gamers in the survey lived normal lives and had normal friends. For them, gaming was one of many social activities.

Wedding Rings

December 14th, 2007

We are all probably familiar with the fact that the wedding ring, or “circle,” symbolizes perfection, perfect unity with no end. For some it represents holiness, perfection and peace, as well as the sun, earth and universe. You may even be aware that it was once believed that the third finger of the left hand had a special vein, “vena amoris” or “the vain of love,” running directly to the wearer’s heart. And it is from this romantic custom that we today have the custom of placing the wedding ring on this finger.
